It’s not about picking them up actually… It’s the adventure! It’s like trying to find a hidden treasure. You have an idea where you might find them but you’re very unsure. Then you walk around in a forest, look around, stop, think again, walk around again and finally stop. There they are! You have found the treasure! This day it was chantarelles we were after. We didn’t find much but it didn’t matter. We found enough to have a chantarelle sauce for dinner and we had a pleasant walk in the forest.
Foraging for food through forests. That is really something for your wellbeing!
