My mother-in-law brought strawberries, my mom brought the cake, cream, ice pops and the dough. My brother and her girlfriend baked campfire bread. Our friends whipped the cream with me and helped to set the table. Unna´s cousins and friend swam and played with her. My husband helped me and my mom to make the big strawberry cake. My little sister took photos (thank you Marianne!). And all the rest looked after Liilia and played with her.
That was how our 4 year old princess’ outdoor birthday parties were arranged. Together. We made and enjoyed the day together. The day was perfect! Sunny, relaxing and full of laughter. I was so happy about it and it was such a pleasure to see that also our guests had fun too!
It was proved right again – shared joy is a double joy.
