I wrote a post earlier this summer and told that I need both nature and cultural experiences for my wellbeing. That`s true although lately you have seen more pictures about me and my family`s nature experiences. Here`s one memorable cultural experience from this summer.
It was an opera experience (c/o), “Flying Dutchman”, and I went there with my little sister Marianne. The storyline in Flying Dutchman is very traditional – you can read a little about it here. Despite the traditionality I found our opera experience nice and relaxing – partly because of the good opera, partly because of the surroundings. I don`t know a better place for an opera experience than Olavinlinna castle. The medieval atmosphere of the castle makes the opera experience just perfect!
